The RBA has four membership categories: Full, Regular, Affiliate and Supporter. See the requirements for each category here. Full and regular members are designated by an “F” or “R” after their company name: RBA members pay annual dues of $35,000 or $45,000 per year, depending on their company`s revenue, with $9 billion as a dividing line. New members also pay a one-time registration fee of $5,000. Membership in the RBA is open to companies that manufacture or order a product whose electronics depend on the product, or that supply materials used in these goods. The RBA reviews membership levels of individual companies with the member`s prior consent. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to make a request. One application per company is required. Starting with eight members in 2004, RBA`s core members (excluding initiative members) today consist of more than 200 electronics, retail, automotive, and toy companies with total annual sales of over $7.7 trillion, directly employing more than 6 million people. In addition to RBA members, thousands of firms that are Tier 1 suppliers of these members must implement the RBA Code of Conduct. More than 3.5 million people from more than 120 countries contribute to the production of RBA members` products. There are four categories of members and the corresponding requirements, as described below. As our membership list shows, in recent years the RBA has expanded its membership beyond traditional electronics businesses – for example, in the automotive and toy industries – due to the proliferation of electronics in so many products.
